About from Jack Smithers, the pastor, there is Andy, an ex SAS veteran (or so he says) who sets himself up as Jack's guardian angel, a directive from God Himself, according to Andy.
Then there is Horace, an 80 year old tear away at Wandsworth House, a local Residential Nursing Home. He makes Jack's life a misery.
All in all, with many other characters like a naked man walking into the thriving Evening Church Service asking for soap so he can have a shower, this will keep the reader in stitches.
