Have you ever wished that your dog could talk or tried to guess what he or she is saying to you.
Oftentimes, they look at us and you just know they're thinking something and could almost say what it is.
Well that was the basis of this book. Chips, our wonderful King Charles Cavalier was such a colourful character and observing his behaviour, I could often identify certain things that he wanted to say. I remember a time when it was bucketing it down with rain. I went to take him out for a walk, something he usually lived. However, when he saw the weather, he jerked back as if to say, "You've got to be joking, I'm not going out in that."
This and many other things I recorded until I felt there was a comical story to be told. It is here in my book: A PORTION OF CHIPS- The King Charles Cavalier.

BOWEL PROBLEMS?

I suffered with Ulcerative Colitis for 10 painful years. I was so ill at the end of this, I had to undergo surgery for a permanent ileostomy. Psychological and emotional problems came my way at a rate of knots. How could I live with such a thing. I came to the conclusion that living with a stoma was far better than dying of bowel cancer.
Maybe you have a bowel complaint. My book can help you. As I am a Christian, it is written from this persuasion, However, it is only me telling it as it was to me, not trying to convert anyone else.
